We’re excited to welcome back Hacienda La Esmeralda for the second year in a row.

We returned to the farm in April this year, continuing our relationship with one of Panama’s most recognised coffee producers. With a long history of success at the Best of Panama competition, Esmeralda has played an important role in shaping Panama’s reputation for exceptional coffee.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to cup through this year’s harvest and carefully selected one of just two coffees to bring back to us.

Hacienda La Esmeralda has played a defining role in the story of modern specialty coffee. Based in Panama’s Boquete region, the farm became internationally recognised for its exceptional Geisha coffees, particularly after its success at the Best of Panama competition.
