Gab recently took out the title of 2026 Australian Barista Championships, with the support from Veneziano Coffee Roasters.

After 4 years of podium placing, he finally did it!

This year he talks about the accessibility of high quality coffees. Setting Panamanian coffee from Janson Family as his benchmark of high quality coffees and introduce an Indonesian coffee from Wanoja Estate in a competition stage. Gab work closely with two producers this year, he visited them during harvest season and pick the best coffees to serve on stage and deliver his message using competition platform.

Gab will be representing Australia and compete in the World Barista Championships in Panama, October 2026.
