Panama 2026

Panama 2026

Just got back from a two-week trip to Panama, where we spent one week in Volcán and one in Boquete.

We visited many producers—some we’ve worked with for years, and some new ones along the way.

2026 is shaping up to be a challenging year for Panamanian producers. Due to weather changes, rainfall during the flowering season has significantly impacted the harvest. Most producers are seeing at least a 50% reduction in production compared to last year, while also facing increased global demand for Panamanian coffees.

Despite the lower yield this year, the quality of Panamanian coffees remains high. We’re expecting the new 2026 harvest to arrive in mid-May, and it will gradually become available on our website.
